“A shoe factory sends two marketing scouts to a region of Africa to study the prospects for expanding business. One sends back a telegram saying, SITUATION HOPELESS STOP NO ONE WEARS SHOES. The other writes back triumphantly, GLORIOUS BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY STOP THEY HAVE NO SHOES.”

This quote from The Art of Possibility: Transforming Professional and Personal Life by Rosamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander is a great example of how perception can shape both your reality and your opportunity!  How are you looking at the world? I saw another quote recently, “While the optimist and the pessimist were arguing over whether the glass was half full or half empty, I drank it.” ~ The Opportunist.  When you look at the world, look for the opportunities even when it seems that all might be hopeless. You may just have stumbled upon a solution that is the greatest opportunity in history.
