This fall, I will be running the Rock & Roll Marathon in Savannah, Georgia, so the time has come to start really training. It is amazing what having a goal can do for the frequency of my runs and the distance. Getting a couple 4 mile runs a week in right now and then one longer one. Life is like this. Sometimes we need to set goals for ourselves in order to want to perform our best. What is something you have been wanting to do, but haven’t found the motivation for? Maybe you just need to take that leap and go for it! Once the decision has been made,  the rest often falls into place…with a little work along the way. Have fun and set some great goals!

    Well, here lately, there hasn’t been much time for anything else, because I’ve been doing what I want most to do. Now, after I get this relocation and book completed – it will all be a different story. I’d love to one day drive cross-country – making stops here and there at some really cool places. Who knows? It may just happen as a celebration type thing I give to myself. 🙂

    Way to go on the marathon, Burl. I hope to get back to running soon, myself. I definitely know I’m not fit for the 4 miles though… but I could surprise myself. 🙂

    I can’t wait until your book is finished Deeone! The cross country trip sounds like a blast! There are so many beautiful things to see in this world! You can do anything you set your mind to! My wife wants us to inline skate the Athens 2 Atlanta race someday. I believe that is in your neck of the woods. Have an awesome day and keep up the great work on making your dreams come true!
